NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTY

Carlin Park - State road AIA, south of Indiantown Road, Jupiter. Developed oceanfront recreation area with 3,000 feet of rocky beach, lifeguards and hiking trails. Open sunrise-sunset.

Dubois Park - Dubois Road via State Road AIA, south of Jupiter inlet. Developed beach (20 acres) with 1200 feet beach frontage, 100 feet guarded with lifeguards.

Juno Beach - State Road AIA, one mile north of Juno Beach. Undeveloped beach (300 feet) with lifeguards, showers, picnic shelters and fishing pier.

Juno Beach RV Park - 900 Juno Ocean Walk, (561) 622-7500. Short walk to beach, shopping & dining. Groceries, RV supplies & LP gas in adjacent plaza. Heated pool, jacuzzi and shuffleboard.

Loggerhead Park - (Pegasus Park) State Road AIA and U.S. 1, one -eight mile north of Donald Ross Road, Juno. Developed oceanfront(900 feet).

Marinelife Center - 1200 US 1, Loggerhead Park, Juno Beach. A marinelife conservation, education and research center.

Ocean Reef Park- Just north of Hilton Inn on Singer Island, Riviera Beach, (561) 966-6600. 700-foot beach, approx. 240 free parking spaces. Two beach entrances. Picnic areas with grills and restrooms, outdoor showers, lifeguards. Children's play area. Good snorkeling. Disabled accessible. No entrance fee.

Phil Foster Park - Northeast of the Blue Heron Bridge, Singer Island. Riviera Beach, (561) 966-6600. On the Intracoastal Waterway. Calm water swimming, swimming area marked off by buoys. Picnic facilities and barbecue grills. Free parking. Boat ramp available 24 hours, waverunner rentals & parasailing also available. Restrooms and outdoor showers.

Riviera Beach Municipal Beach - On Singer Island, Riviera Beach, off Blue Heron Boulevard. (561) 845-4070. Developed beach with lifeguards, children's play area, volleyball courts, new restrooms, and outdoor showers. Free parking, nearby tennis courts, shopping plaza, and restaurants.

CENTRAL PALM BEACH COUNTY

Glades Pioneer Park - Belle Glade, north of the intersection of state roads 715 and 80. District park with ball field, basketball courts and concessions. Call (561) 996-4894

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park - State road 703, Singer Island, North Palm Beach. Nature center with tours available, live exhibits, picnic area on beach with showers, fishing, swimming, boardwalk to beach overlooks lagoon. Call (561) 624-6950

John Prince Park - 726 acres on Lake Osborne. Picnic areas, fishing, camping, RV hookups, recreation, nature trail and golf driving range. Congress Avenue south of Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth. Open sunrise-sunset.

Lake Worth Beach - Access from Ocean Boulevard and Lake Avenue in Palm Beach. Developed beach (1,200 feet) with a pool and lifeguards. No alcohol permitted.

Lantana Park - State road 12 and Ocean Boulevard (State Road A1A), one mile east of Lantana. Undeveloped beach with lifeguard. No alcohol permitted.

Lion Country Safari KOA - P.O. Box 16066, West Palm Beach, (800) 562-9115. Shady pull-thru sites, concrete patio and picnic tables. Heated pool, shuffle board, basket and volleyball, horseshoes, laundry and activities. Close to fishing, beaches, boating, golf, shopping. Next to Lion Country Safari.

Manalapan Beach - An undeveloped beach, 1,350 feet south of Lantana Avenue, Manalapan. No facilities.

Okeeheelee Park - Recreation and picnic areas, 170-acre lake, boating, water skiing, 27-hole golf course and nature trails off Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach. Fishing (freshwater). User fees charged for scheduled activities. Open daily.

Palm Beach Municipal Beach - State Road A1A , three miles north and south of Royal Palm Way. Undeveloped beach with limited parking.

Phipps Ocean Park - Ocean Boulevard, 2.5 miles south of Southern Boulevard. Developed beach (1,300 feet). No alcohol permitted.

SOUTH PALM BEACH COUNTY

Boynton Public Beach - State Road A1A, two blocks north of Woolbright Road in Ocean Ridge.

Delray Beach Public Beach - Ocean Boulevard, Delray Beach. A developed, oceanfront beach with lifeguards, accessible along its 7,000 foot length. No alcohol permitted.

Atlantic Dunes Park - State Road A1A, one mile south of Delray Beach. Developed oceanfront beach(seven acres) with lifeguards. No alcohol permitted.

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center -1801 N. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton. The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is designed to provide environmental education for students, adults, and community education programs. Mon-Sat. 9am - 4pm. Sun. noon-4pm

Spanish River Park - 3000 N. State Road A1A (south of northeast Spanish River Boulevard), Boca Raton. A 46 acre park with picnic area and boat docking. Over a half mile of beachfront with lifeguards. Open 8 a.m.-sunset. No alcohol permitted.

Red Reef Park - State Road A1A, one mile south of Spanish River Park, Boca Raton. Developed oceanfront beach (67 acres) with lifeguards. No alcohol permitted.

South Beach Park - State road A1A at Northeast Fourth Street. Undeveloped beach with lifeguards. No alcohol permitted.

South Inlet Park - State road A1A, south of Boca Inlet. Developed beach (850 feet) with lifeguards.
